Nowadays they look like a discarded outdated segment of the ISS.

Not so much a charger as a charging point with a 20Kw capacity for the external 800V charger .

Try watching the races , the bikes look fast – unlike FE which still looks very pedestrian on a full size track .

Ducati is using an 18 kWh battery pack, which operates at 800 volts when fully charged (80% of that charge can be achieved in 45 minutes with the onboard 20 kW charger).

Why would a race bike have an on-board charger taking up space and adding weight?
