And it’s beginning to look like the transition isn’t going too well. There have been no “couple of stories a day to tide you over”. Nothing lately slipping in from David Emmett. Crickets. 🥺

David has not ‘taken over’. IIRC, his posts here are cross-posted from MotoMatters (though only some posts now), like this for a few years. It’s just that there’s just none of Jensen’s content to go around it now.

David’s focus is pro racing, and his posts here are limited (many are only on MM, race analysis is only for his subscribers there too); if you’re not into that, it’s fine, but seems this is what will come through here until a new A&R owner/contributor is found.

Not really though. Blog’s become boring since Emmett took over. Used to be an interesting source of moto industry news but that’s all over. Emmett isn’t doing a very good job. Was thinking about A&R Pro but noped out and for good reason. Used to come here daily. Now it’s once a week to hear the crickets. Sad. Visordown’s The Way now.

Yeah, I had assumed it was a joke. But the content basically died. Sad to see it. A&R was my favorite source for motogp news.

That said, we’ll miss you. I’ve always looked to this site as the most trusted of the moto news sites. I hope that continues if it sells. I’m glad to hear Brap Talk continues for now, too.

The plan is to keep doing Brap Talk until I can’t, and the most likely reason for me being unable to do the podcast would be a conflict with my next job position.

I’m in the process now of finding a new owner for A&R – hopefully one that will do A&R Pro a bit more justice than I did.

I wouldn’t begrudge someone if they wanted to cancel their subscription right now – I get it – and hopefully the content the new owner produces will get you to sign back up.

In the unlikely event that I don’t find someone to takeover the site, I will cancel all the subs, and refund all the recent renewals.

Jensen has always been super ethical. I’m sure those will get shut off if the site is not transferred (which sounded like a possibility)
